KONIBODOM, January 30, Asia-Plus -- Local tax authorities in the northern city of Konibodom have offered new methods on improving collection taxes and raising tax policy awareness among the population.
They have produced and released special leaflets containing materials about kinds of taxes being collected in the republic. Besides, they have recorded audiocassettes with songs of the most popular singers that also contain information about the country’s tax legislation and taxes collected in the country. With support of the local authorities special vehicles with loudspeakers will be driving around markets in the city as well as villages to agitate for paying taxes.
Local TV station “Guli Bodom” is organizing various programs and local print media are publishing various tax materials.
Muzaffar Homidov, the Konibodom tax directorate chief, has told Asia-Plus that all these activities will be held in the district within the frame of the event, dubbed “Tax”, from February 1 to March 1 this year.
